for our outdoor furniture we use thick 5/4” Western Red Cedar with Stainless Steel Hardware. Cedar is very strong yet relatively lightweight. Cedar also stays cool even on the hottest days. The bacteria and fungal resistance of the wood ensures long life. Not to mention bugs, hate the stuff! This is why cedar is so desirable, for outdoor furniture.

We think these chairs look great with no stain, however, you can apply linseed oil or any other wood stain of your liking.

Unless you are a local pick-up. We ship using UPS Ground most item ships mostly assembled all hardware and full instructions are included.
